Our story began in the heart of Hrvatsko Zagorje, in Gornja Stubica, where love for flowers, nature and agriculture has been passed down from generation to generation for three generations.
From humble beginnings and grandmother's bouquets from field flowers, sold in Zagreb's Dolac, a family farm dedicated to the cultivation, drying and processing of flowers has developed.
In 1992, family production continued by Jasna and Krešimir Novosel, gradually expanding the growing areas, introducing new types of flowers and developing the economy.
In 2020, the economy was taken over by the third generation - Magdalena, Peter and Antun, continuing the family tradition with new ideas and modern ways of producing and selling.
What began with the cultivation of several types of seasonal flowers over the decades has grown into a diverse production in open fields and in greenhouses.
Today, we grow more than a hundred different types and varieties of cut flowers, ornamental plants and grasses. Among them are dahlias, hydrangeas, lisianthus, peonies, sunflowers, statics, ornamental grasses and many other species.
Our production follows the natural rhythm of the seasons, and we pay attention to each plant from sowing and planting to daily care and harvesting.
Own cultivation allows us to monitor the whole process of flower formation, control its quality and create a variety of combinations for our products.
Growing flowers requires a lot of knowledge, patience and daily work. From land preparation and planting to watering, care and harvesting, every part of production is important for the quality of the final product.
Harvesting is one of the most beautiful, but also the most demanding parts of our business. We harvest each type of flower at the right time to preserve its natural beauty and prepare it for further use.
One of the biggest peculiarities of our economy is that we grow, harvest, dry and paint flowers ourselves.
After harvesting, we carefully select the flowers intended for drying and process them in a way adapted to the particular species. Part of the flowers retains their natural shades, while the other part is painted to create a rich color palette and make it possible to make different floral combinations.
Drying flowers gets a new purpose, and its beauty can be preserved much longer than with fresh flowers.
It is precisely the combination of own cultivation, drying and coloring that allows us to create recognizable products in a wide range of natural and vivid shades.
After each received order, we go to our fields and greenhouses, where we pick fresh flowers necessary for making the ordered arrangement. Such a way of working, which is nowadays a rarity in floriculture, allows us exceptional freshness and quality.
From our own fresh and dried flowers, we make bouquets, wreaths, hearts, crosses and numerous other decorations by hand, with the possibility of customizing colors, sizes and accessories according to customers' wishes.
From grandmother's bouquets on Zagreb's Dolac to today's flower fields, greenhouses and online shops, our economy has gone a long way.
Although the ways of production, technology and customer needs have changed over the years, the most important thing is the same – family ties, own cultivation and love for flowers.
Our desire is to continue to develop the economy, introduce new types of flowers and create new products, while preserving the tradition that has been started by previous generations.
